Tourists encouraged to visit the West End when in London
According to Ian Rumgay of holiday website TripAdvisor, foreign tourists who visit London this year should also visit the West End and take in some theatre shows. He mentioned that due to the success of reality TV shows such as “I’d Do Anything”, “How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria?” and “Any Dream Will Do” the London theatre scene has become extremely popular, not just with avid theatre goers, but with people of all ages and backgrounds.
Audiences who had never experienced the theatre before are attending the West End and finding that they really enjoy it.
Ian Rumgay stated in an interview about the London theatre scene:
I think for any visitor coming to London, West End shows have definitely got to be on the schedule.
The West End has something for everyone of all ages.
He also mentioned that people are finding it easier to book theatre tickets, and even find cheap theatre tickets, online through Internet booking websites. Using the web theatre goers are able to book last minute theatre tickets and find great deals.
