The production will then embark on a UK tour including visits to Cambridge from the 1st to the 6th of June, Guildford from the 8th to the 13th, Bath from the 15th to the 20th, Oxford from the 22nd to the 27th of June. It then moves on to Malvern from the 29th of June to the 4th of July, Milton Keynes from the 6th to the 11th of July, Bromley from the 13th to the 18th and Brighton from the 20th to the 25th of July. Don’t be surprised if it also ends up as a London show.

It will star Timothy West, Claire Cox, Adrian Lukis, Diane Fletcher, Sarah Flind, Rachel Edwards, Tom Jude, Thomas Howes, Hugh Wyld, John Sackville and Roger May.

The play was first performed in 1946 and is set during the years immediately before the First World War. It tells the story of a naval cadet falsely accused of stealing. His father and sister take it upon themselves to prove his innocence and restore family honour.
