A Dolls House
Henrik Ibsen’s ‘A Doll’s House’ is often seen as one of the earliest truly feminist plays. It tells the story of Nora, a model mother and wife, who decides she should not be purely identified by those roles.
The Donmar Warehouse will no doubt be looking to have its audience discussing these issues as they leave their forthcoming production which runs from the 14th of May until the 18th of July. It is directed by Kfir Yefet and is a new version by Zinnie Harris.
The cast includes Gillian Anderson, Christopher Eccleston, Tara Fitzgerald, Anton Lesser, Toby Stephens and Maggie Wells.
With this star studded cast and the Donmar’s reputation, you shouldn’t delay before buying your theatre tickets.
Gillian Anderson ‘s film credits include ‘The Last King of Scotland’ and ‘How to Lose Friends and Alienate People’. Television credits include ‘X Files’ and ‘Bleak House’.
Christopher Eccleston played Doctor Who on television as well as appearing in cult show ‘Heroes’. His films include ’24 Hour Party People’ and ‘Shallow Grave’.
Tara Fitzgerald’s television includes ‘Waking the Dead’. Films include ‘Brassed Off’, and she appeared in the West End in ‘And Then There Were None’.
