‘La Clique’ is a mixture of circus, burlesque, variety show and cabaret. It has performed seasons around the world including Dublin, New York, Melbourne, Edinburgh and Montreal. It made its London Debut at the Hippodrome , debuting officially on the 10th of October 2008. Initially it was only due to run for four months. However, it has been extended many times since then.

It has now received its final extension at the Hippodrome until the 27th of June 2009. After that United Leisure will be converting the space into a £15 million casino complex.

However, this will not be the last London sees of ‘La Clique’. The show will reopen on the 25th of November 2009 with previews from the 19th of November at the Roundhouse in Camden. It is scheduled to run for a limited nine week season until the 17th of January 2010.

The show’s run at the Hippodrome has been a huge success with over 100,000 people seeing it and ticket sales grossing more than £2.5 million. It has also attracted critical approbation and won the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Entertainment this March.

Current performers in the show include ‘The English Gents’, ‘The Skating Willers’ and ‘Captain Frodo’.
