Mamma Mia

One of the hardest things to get in London is Mamma Mia tickets. This isn’t going to change any time soon. First of all, it is a fantastic, feel-good show which seems to particularly suit the summer. Secondly, some changes to the cast have been announced which are bound to cause a further run on the box office.

From the 16th of June a number of changes will be made to the cast. Sally Ann Triplett returns to the West End to play Donna Sheridan. She will be joined by Niamh Perry as Sophie Sheridan, Katy Secombe as Rosie, Norman Bowman as Sam Carmichael and Christopher Hollis as Bill Austin.

Members of the cast who are expected to stay on include Jane Gurnett as Tanya, Paul Ryan as Harry Bright, Oliver Hembrough as Sky and Jodie Read, Laura Selwood, Ben Heathcote and Sam McKay. Melissa Jaques will be playing Donna at certain performances. The show is booking until the 27th of March 2010.

Sally Ann Triplett’s previous credits include ‘Anything Goes’, ‘Chicago’, ‘Cats’, ‘Jolson’, ‘Acorn Antiques’ and ‘Cabaret’, all in the West End. Katy Secombe, daughter of the late Harry Secombe has appeared as Maria in ‘Twelfth Night’ at the National Theatre and in ‘Chicago’ and ‘Les Miserables’ in the West End.
