One show you should definitely think about buying theatre tickets for,well in advance, is the revival of Nicholas Wright’s play, ‘Mrs Klein’ which runs at the Almeida Theatre from the 29th of October until the 5th of December with previews commencing on the 22nd of October.

Clare Higgins, who has won no less than three Olivier Awards, will play the title role. She will be joined by Nicola Walker who plays the role of Paula and Kate Ashfield as Melitta. It will be directed by Thea Sharrock.

Higgins is having a busy year as she is currently at the National Theatre starring in Marianne Elliot’s production of ‘All’s Well That Ends Well’. One of her Oliviers was for her role in a Nicholas Wright play, ‘Vincent in Brixton’ which opened at the National before going on to play both Broadway and the West End. ‘Mrs Klein’ also premiered at the National in 1988.

Higgins’ other stage credits include ‘King Lear’, ‘Absence of War’, ‘The Secret Rapture’,’ Sweet Bird of Youth’ and ‘Children’s Hour’ all for the National Theatre, ‘The Fever’ at the Royal Court, ‘Phaedra’ at the Donmar and ‘Night of the Iguana’ and ‘Death of a Salesman’ in the West End.

Theatre tickets for ‘Mrs Klein’ are already available.
