Breakfast at Tiffany’s
‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ at the Theatre Royal Haymarket has tickets available until 9th January 2010 and will no doubt be a very popular Christmas treat for many people this year.
The show is part of the theatre’s season of in house productions, directed by Sean Mathias, and is proving to be as big a hit as the previous show ‘Waiting for Godot’ which starred Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart. This show also has star names in the shape of Anna Friel and Joseph Cross.
Anna Friel seems to bring titillation wherever she goes. There is some nudity in this show, including hers, and she first came to prominence with British television’s first lesbian kiss in the ground breaking soap ‘Brookside’. However, that should not blind anybody to the fact that she is a fine actress. Her film credits include ‘Land of the Lost’, ‘Landgirls’ and ‘Rogue Trader’. Her television work includes ‘Pushing Daisies’ in the United States and ‘The Street’ and ‘Our Mutual Friend’. Previous theatre work includes ‘Lulu’ for the Almeida and ‘Closer’ both of which transferred to America.
Her co-star is Joseph Cross, the American actor who has starred in Hollywood films including ‘Flags of Our Fathers’ for Clint Eastwood and ‘Milk’. To see these stellar names perform, you can book theatre tickets from Concierge Desk.
