Long Running Shows
When booking theatre tickets for shows in London, it is often easy to overlook the productions that always seem to have been listed. It may be that they simply don’t appeal, or perhaps you have already seen them. Maybe that was five, ten or even fifty years ago. Perhaps it would be fun to revisit an old friend?
Agatha Christie’s ‘The Mousetrap’ is perhaps the most famous theatre show in the world. It is certainly the longest running and will shortly celebrate its fifty seventh anniversary. It has run at the St Martin’s Theatre for over thirty four years and is currently selling theatre tickets for shows up to 10th April 2010.
‘Dirty Dancing’ is playing at the Aldwych Theatre and its popularity shows no sign of waning. It is currently selling theatre tickets for performances up until 27th March 2010.
The current cast is led by Hannah Vassallo as Baby and Martin Harvey as Jonathan. Martin previously worked with the Royal Ballet where he appeared in ‘Romeo and Juliet’, ‘Onegin’ and ‘Timecode’ amongst others.
Baby’s sister Lisa is played by Jessica Brooks. Her television work includes ‘Nathan Barley’ and ‘Hotel Babylon’. Previous theatre includes ‘Don Juan in Soho’ at the Donmar Warehouse and ‘The Graduate’.
