Women Beware Women

Thomas Middleton’s darkly comic Jacobean tragedy, ‘Women Beware Women’, comes to the National Theatre in London later this year with a stellar cast. Theatre tickets are available for the show which is currently booking until 8th June. Previews begin on 20th April with the show, which is directed by Marianne Elliott, opening on 27th April.

Harriet Walter stars and that alone virtually guarantees that the show will sell out. Her many cinema appearances include ‘Babel’, ‘Bright Young Things’, ‘Atonement’ and ‘The Young Victoria’. However it is as a stage actress that she is best known. Roles for the Royal Shakespeare Company include Lady Macbeth and Cleopatra. Other plays include ‘The Late Middle Classes’, ‘The Royal Family’ and ‘Dinner’, all in the West End.

Samuel Barnett also stars. His films include ‘Bright Star’ and ‘Mrs Henderson Presents’. Television includes ‘Desperate Romantics’, ‘Beautiful People’ and ‘Strange’. His stage work includes previous work at the National Theatre in London including ‘The History Boys’ and ‘His Dark Materials’. More recent work includes ‘Dealer’s Choice’ in the West End. He is currently appearing at the Bush Theatre in the 5 star reviewed ‘The Whisky Taster’.

Andrew Woodall also joins the cast. His previous theatre credits include ‘Gaslight’ at the Old Vic, ‘As You Desire Me’ and ‘A Letter of Resignation’ in the West End.
