The National Theatre

Casting has been announced for the National Theatres upcoming production Earthquakes In London, which will include current star of Enron Tom Goodman-Hill. Theatre tickets for Earthquakes in London are currently on sale.

Goodman-Hill reunites with Enron director Rupert Goold for this new play from Mike Bartlett, which will also include Jessica Raine, Bill Paterson, Anna Madely, Lia Williams and Geoffrey Streatfield in the cast. Bartlett won an Olivier award this year for his play Cock.

Headlong Theatre will co-produce the show, which opens this August in the Cottesloe theatre. Earthquakes In London has been billed as “a fast and furious metropolitan crash of people, scenes and decades as three sisters attempt to navigate their dislocated lives and loves, while their dysfunctional father, a brilliant scientist, predicts global catastrophe”.

Goodman-Hill can currently be seen as Andy Fastow in hit show Enron. His previous stage credits include Darker Shores (Hampstead Theatre), and the witty Monty Python musical Spamalot in which he played Sir Lancelot, and was nominated for a Laurence Olivier award. Goodman-Hill is said to be “delighted” with the role and working with Rupert Goold once again.

Earthquakes In London follows a tense and provocative play Love The Sinner, a new work by Drew Pautz, which tests the lengths of human sacrifice for the sake of belief.
