WE WILL ROCK YOU EXTENDS SHOW DATES

Tuesday, September 20th, 2011

We Will Rock You, the rock music delight, has extended its run until 20th October 2012!

We Will Rock You previewed on 26th April 2002 and opened on 14th May 2002 at the Dominion Theatre. Choreographed by the infamous Arlene Phillips, songs by Queen and direction from Ben Elton, the show has wowed more than 5 million people in the UK and over 12 million across the globe.

The musical is based on the songs by the rock group Queen. It is set in the future where globalization is complete. Kids wear the same fashions and watch the same movies and all think the same thoughts. It’s a very safe world to live in, namely Ga Ga world, but not if you want to rock and roll and be a rebel! All musical instruments on Plant Mall are banned and the company computers generate the tunes you can listen to and everyone can download them. Resistance is growing and the legend persists that somewhere on the Planet, instruments still exist…will rock and roll return?

Bizarre costumes, classic rock anthems and pulsating rhythems is the best way to describe We Will Rock You.
