NEW CAST FOR SHREK

Nigel Harman and Nigel Lindsay will leave the cast of Shrek on 27th February 2012. The role of Shrek will be played by Dean Chisnall who is the current understudy for the role. He has lengthy experience in the West End playing in shows such as Love Never Dies and La Cage aux Folles. Neil McDermott from BBcs Eastenders takes over the role as Lord Farquaad. He recently appeared in The Sound of Music at the London Palladium.

Princess Fiona is currently being played by Kimberley Walsh from Girls Aloud and Richard Blackwood will continue with his role as the Donkey.

LEGALLY BLONDE

Legally Blonde won the 2011 Olivier for Best New Musical after the shows continuous popularity. The musical tells the story of Elle, a sorority sweetheart, who wants to conquer Harvard Law School. She also has her eye on someone special too. Go and see this feel good show for yourself and you will not be disappointed! It has star studded cast with Carley Stenson from Hollywoaks in the lead role, Ben Freeman from Emmerdale and from Jersey Boys, Stephen Ashfield. To top it all, Peter Davison from All Creatures Great and Small and Dr Who plays Professor Callahan.

CHICAGO RETURNS WITH DARIUS

The wonderful musical Chicago is once again returning to the West End. It reopens on 7th November at the Garrick Theatre. Darius Campbell is returning to play the role of Billy Flynn. He was last seen in Chicago in 2006 and has since gone on to star in other West End musicals Gone with the Wind and Guys and Dolls. He won last years ITVs Popstar to Operastar which led to his opera debut with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in Carmen. This fantastic musical is about greed, murder, violence and adultery. It tells the story of Roxie Hart who kills her boyfriend. A great show featuring songs Razzle Dazzle, All That Jazz and Mr.Cellophane.

The Christmas Lights are on in London and its time to come and see London in all its splendor! Whilst you’re there, why not go and see a show to really get you in the party spirit!
