Last year the Royal and Derngate Theatres in Northampton presented a Young America season directed by Laurie Sansom. The sales of theatre tickets were so good and the critical reception so positive that they are transferring to the National Theatre in London. ‘Beyond the Horizon’ by Eugene O’Neill and ‘Spring Storm’ by Tennessee Williams will play in repertory in the Cottesloe Theatre. The plays are selling theatre tickets for performances up until June.

Her previous stage work includes ‘The Beaver Coat’ at the Finborough, ‘Made of Stone’ at the Royal Court and many regional productions including ‘Ladies Day’ at the Lichfield Garrick and ‘Frozen’ at the Library Theatre in Manchester.

Joanna is joined by Liz White. Liz has appeared on our television screen in ‘The Fixer’, ‘The Street’ and is best known for her role as Annie in ‘Life on Mars’. Her films include ‘Vera Drake’ and ‘New Town Killers’. Her previous stage credits include ‘Plasticine’ and ‘The One With the Oven’ at the Royal Court, ‘References to Salvador Dali Make Me Hot’ at the Arcola and ‘Dying For It’ at the Almeida.
