Eigengrau
Thursday, March 4th, 2010‘Eigengrau’, a new play by Penelope Skinner and directed by Polly Findlay, runs at the Bush Theatre from 10th March to 10th April. Theatre tickets are on sale and selling fast, which is not surprising as the full star cast was announced in February.
John Cummins has appeared on our television screens in ‘Holby City’ and ‘Eastenders’. His previous stage credits include ‘The Beaver Coat’ at the Finborough, ‘The Reporter’ and ‘The Alchemist’ at the National Theatre in London and most recently ‘The Good Wife’ and ‘The Good Soul of Szechuan’ at Manchester’s Library Theatre.
John is joined by Sinead Mathews. Her films have included ‘The Boat That Rocked’, ‘Pride and Prejudice’ and ‘Vera Drake’. Her television credits include ‘He Knew He Was Right’ and ‘Terry Pratchett’s Hogfather’, but she is best known for her starring role as Jenny in the comedy series ‘Ideal’. Her previous stage credits include ‘The Birthday Party’ in the West End, ‘The Wild Duck’ at the Donmar Warehouse theatre in London and ‘Women of Troy’ at the National Theatre.
Laurence Fox also stars. His films include ‘Becoming Jane’ and ‘Gosford Park’. Television includes the role of DS James Hathaway in ‘Lewis’.
Alison O’Donnell completes the cast. She returns to the Bush after her success there last year in ‘I Saw This and Thought of You’.
