The Independent newspaper has described the Finborough Theatre in Earls Court as “One of the most stimulating venues in London”. That shows no sign of changing in 2010 as they prepare for the first production of the New Year.

theatre tickets are already on sale for ‘Generous’ by Michael Healey. This is the first London production of Healey’s work, who has won many awards in his native, Canada. This hilarious comedy was tried out for six performances in 2009 and the theatre tickets sold so quickly that it now gets a four week run from the 5th to the 30th of January 2010. It is directed by Eleanor Rhode and designed by Kim Alwyn-Blotting and Aimee Sajjan-Servaes.

The cast includes Karen Archer, who played the lead in television series ‘The Chief’ for four years. Previous theatre credits include ‘Nicholas Nickleby’ at the National Theatre and ‘Mourning Becomes Electra’ at the National Theatre.

Joining Karen is Corey Turner, a Canadian actor who has worked extensively there in theatre including a number of productions at the prestigious Shaw Festival.
Also featured in the cast is Scott Christie who has appeared on our cinema screens in successful film ‘Green Street’ and ‘Bad Moon Rising’. Previous stage credits include ‘Jekyll and Hyde’ at the Union Theatre and ‘A Bit of Hows Your Father’ at the Soho Theatre.
