Shrek the Musical opens its doors to London Theatre Goers on 6th May at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane. It has got to be next years must see musical. Shrek the Musical based on the characters from the famous film version, bring the much loved characters to life. Featuring new songs as well as I’m a Believer, the much loved cult anthem from Shrek the movie.

An all star cast includes Nigel Lindsay as Shrek, Amanda Holden as the beautiful Princess Fiona and Nigel Harman as Lord Farquaad. The actor and comedian Richard Blackwood plays the part of ‘donkey’.

The fairytale world is turned upside down with singing, dancing, adventure, romance and of course laughter. Shrek (a large green ogre) sets off on an adventure to rescue the beautiful Princess from a tower which is guarded by a fire breathing dragon. Enjoy his quest to rescue his Princess with complications on his way.
