Show Overview

If you are a fan of Monty Python, or any of the classic Monty Python films, you will love the Spamalot theatre production!  This musical comedy at The Palace Theatre is based on the 1975 film classic, The Holy Grail with John Cleese, Michael Palin, Eric Idle and co.

Spamalot employs the Python brand of humour in the story of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table as they embark on their search for the Holy Grail.  In exactly the same way as the film, the London show offers a hilarious twist on historical events and includes classic scenes such as 'the Knights who say nee', the 'Trojan Rabbit' and the 'Black Knight' who comments 'It's only a scratch' after having both arms and legs cut off in a sword fight with King Arthur!

Written by Eric Idle with musical arrangement by John Du Prez, the London musical Spamalot includes all the original characters and classic music from the original motion picture.  And of course the grand finale is all time favourite, 'Always Look on the Bright Side of Life'.

Originally opening on Broadway, Spamalot won the Tony Award for Best Musical, and has toured numerous theatres world wide.  Now Monty Python has come home, so why not treat yourself to a fantastic night of fun and laughter and see the London show!

The Nearest Underground Station is Leicester Square, which can be reached via the Piccadilly Line or Northern Line.  The theatre is approximately a 5 minute walk from the station.
